Our client, a local construction company focused on industrial and commercial projects, is in search of a 3rd or 4th year carpentry apprentice or a Journeyman carpenter to join their team. This position will start off on a casual full time basis with the intention of going full time permanent.
Position Summary:
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
*Being an active team member in industrial and commercial construction projects
*Completing work in a timely manner with a high level of quality
*Ensuring safety is at the forefront when completing tasks
Required Qualifications:
*Registered as a 3rd or 4th year Apprentice or Journeyman status as a carpenter
*Valid class 5 Drivers license with a clean abstract
*Proven record of reliability and punctuality
*Must have a clean criminal record check
Bonus Points for:
* Past experience in industrial or commercial construction.
Compensation & Hours:
* Hours will be Monday – Friday daytime hours.
* The wage will vary depending on the year of study:
3rd year- $24/hr
4th year- $ 26.80/hr
Journeyman- $28.25/hr
