We are looking for Part Time Bus Driver with CDA/CDW/CDS for our Out of School Care Program at our BrightPath Windermere Edmonton Location.
Responsibilities
Conduct daily walk through on the bus after every drop off.
Conduct daily checklist/inspection every morning.
Confirm child head count at every drop off and pick up.
Maintain cleanliness and supplies on bus.
Check fuel daily and re-fuel as required.
Know and abide by all policies and procedures, including evacuation and accident procedures.
Always maintain constant supervision of the children on the bus.
Develop and implement a high-quality program, in line with BrightPath’s curriculum, that supports and promotes the physical, cognitive, emotional and social development of children.
Plan and maintain a high-quality environment that protects the health, security and well-being of children.
Assess the abilities, interests and needs of children and discuss progress or problems with parents and other staff members.
A clear understanding and ability to implement all policy and procedures including all Ministry of Transportation Regulations.
Clear understanding of requirements of the Ministry of Transportation.
Strong communication skills both written and oral.
Support children in the development of their self-help skills and independence.
Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with co-workers and community service providers working with children.
Attend staff meetings and professional development opportunities as required Work in partnership to maintain cleanliness and organization of classroom materials.
